Brief Introduction

Our university attaches importance to overseas cooperation and education. We have warmly received more than 20,000 visitors and held more than 100 academic exchanges since 1983. We have set up the friendly relationship with nearly 30 countries, and 30 agreements have been signed with academic institutes or Chinese medicine schools in 15 different countries. Every year, more than 10 experts are invited to deliver lectures, instruct the practice, carry out co-researches, translate TCM works and help design the new Chinese Medicine museums and libraries abroad. Also overseas specialists often deliver lectures for our teachers and students with 100 lectures delivered already.
  Averagely, more than 200 overseas students come to our university for their advanced studies yearly. We have already trained more than 3000 overseas students who are contributing to the spreading and developing traditional medicine in their own countries. In 1993, we began to carry out the degree-education of overseas students. With great efforts, we have established an all-level, multi-major and sorts of education system for the students from Tai Wan, Hong Kong, Macao and foreign countries. For example, our renewed diabetes expert has accepted a French student as her apprentice, with their teaching-studying relationship and methods in a traditional way.
